Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a cook helper 3 days a week. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces
- Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistent quality of meals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during peak hours
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Sous la responsabilité du Sous-chef, le cuisinier s’occupe que la cuisson et l’assaisonnement des ingrédients faisant partie des recettes hebdomadaires créées par le chef exécutif tout en respectant les procédures de santé et de sécurité alimentaire. En tant que membre d’une petite équipe en cuisine, le cuisinier doit faire preuve d’excellentes compétences en communication, d’une éthique de travail rigoureuse et être capable de gérer le travail sous pression dans un environnement à volume élevé.

COMPÉTENCES & QUALIFICATIONS

  • DES complété, diplôme en cuisine, un atout.
  • Expérience avérée dans un environnement de cuisine.
  • Compréhension de la transformation alimentaire à grand volume
  • Maîtrise des concepts de qualité, salubrité alimentaires, santé & sécurité au travail
  • Français et/ou anglais parlé.
  • Capacité à travailler en équipe.
  • Excellent sens de l’organisation.
  • Rigueur et autonomie.
