Description Hilton East Assisted Living is currently seeking an Aide Supervisor to lead and manage our Aides at our facility located in Hilton, NY. SHIFT DETAILS: 2nd Shift/Weekends Essential Responsibilities: • Delegates tasks to Direct Care Staff. Ensure that Aides are kept on task and delivering unsurpassed service. • Inform direct care personnel of service delivery schedules. • Ensure timely response by Aides to resident’s needs. • Monitor and perform consistent safety practices. • Implement Aide's adherence to all agency policies and procedures. • Ensure Aide documentation is completed accurately and timely. • Assist with staff development and skills review. • Provide direct client care and other related duties as assigned. • Attend morning report and all Director meetings. • Act as the first level, “go-to person” for Aide's troubleshooting issues. • Provide first-level support as a patient services liaison to research issues surrounding complaints and then communicate findings to the manager. • Facilitate the orientation and training of new aides. • Assist patients with concern and empathy. • Respect patient confidentiality and privacy. • Communicate courteously and respectfully. • Anticipate resident issues to circumvent challenges and deliver unsurpassed patient experience. • Prioritize tasks to ensure optimum resident services as requests and needs change. • Other duties as assigned. Requirements Required: current valid HHA certification Required: previous supervisor experience Previous experience in Home Care or Assisted Living is preferred Associates degree or higher preferred Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Able to maintain confidentiality at all times Adherence to policies and procedures
Responsibilities
