Job Description As a CSSF-approved Conducting Officer in charge of Portfolio Management, you will ensure that investment strategies and delegated functions are effectively managed, aligning with regulatory requirements, investor expectations, and the AIFM’s objectives. You will act as a key leader within the governance and senior management framework. You will You'll oversee portfolio management by ensuring fund investments align with strategy, risk appetite, and performance targets, while managing asset allocation and portfolio construction. You'll monitor delegated portfolio managers through due diligence, KPI/SLA tracking, escalation of issues, and comprehensive reporting on portfolio activity. You'll lead regulatory and compliance governance by implementing oversight procedures under CSSF Circular 18/698 and AIFMD, maintaining documentation, notifying regulators of delegation changes, and serving as the primary contact for audits, inspections, and filings. You'll contribute to investment committees and reporting by shaping investment processes, supporting pipeline development and deal approvals, and producing clear, actionable reports for the Board and Executive Committee. You'll manage delegates and service providers by overseeing portfolio managers, advisors, and service partners, conducting ongoing DDQs, onsite reviews, and fulfilling governance duties including committee participation, minutes, filings, and decisions. Qualifications You bring 10+ years of expertise in portfolio management, asset management, and private equity/real estate, ideally within an AIFM or ManCo in Luxembourg. You have proven experience in delegate oversight, fund governance, and direct interaction with regulatory authorities. You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field. You demonstrate strong technical knowledge of AIFMD, CSSF regulations (especially Circular 18/698), and ESMA guidelines, combined with advanced analytical skills in portfolio analysis, performance, and risk reporting. You are fluent in English and bring added value with proficiency in French or another EU language.
