Aimbridge Employee Service Corp. is hiring for the following role in Plano, TX: Senior Procurement Analyst to Apply advanced mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze large data sets.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field;
• Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation;
• Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Developing machine learning models using Python or R; Designing and developing PowerBI solutions; AWS cloud architecture and Snowflake; Implementing mathematical models; SAP integration for materials management analysis; SSRS for financial reporting and data accuracy; and Data analysis and BI reporting.

• Understand the meaning of the data variables in all reports – including supplier invoices, payment files, ownership data, supplier data, and procurement programs – to be able to know what techniques to apply to obtain results;
• Gather, validate, and analyze data to produce regular Invoice Aging Reports, monthly Procurement Program Utilization Reports, Ownership Detailed Utilization Reports with non-contracted spend, Ownership Value (Price Savings & Rebates) Reports, Rebate & Fee Reports, Ownership Benchmarking Standard Reports, Capital Budget Reports & Analyses, CAPEX project analysis, Category – Supplier – Product Competitive Analyses;
• Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reports based on business requirements;
• Design and implement data models to support the visualization and analysis of data;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into project requirements (project goals, scope of dataset, data to analyze, data sources, other key considerations);
• Gather, clean, and transform data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency; and perform data validation on all data files received to confirm the accuracy of the dataset and collaborate with the departments who source the data.
