Description

On behalf of NSW Health, Carehaven Services is looking for experienced Assistant in Nursing (AIN) looking for a short-term opportunity in a supportive and dynamic hospital environment. We are seeking a dedicated AIN to join the General Ward team in Queanbeyan for a temporary placement starting 28/08/2025. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in patient care who is ready to step in and make a meaningful difference over the next few weeks.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide our residents with assistance as they accomplish daily tasks, including bathing, eating, dressing, grooming and using the restroom
  • Maintain all care records in accordance with company policy and audit care records weekly to ensure accuracy
  • Communicate any problems, concerns or issues to residents’ family members as needed
  • Build rapport with residents by establishing personal connections by caring and showing interest in their lives
  • Respond to any safety or medical issues

Minimum Requirements

  • 1 x Current CV
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an AIN in a hospital or general ward setting
  • Official Statement of Services ONLY. SNSWLHD no longer accepts a statutory declaration for statement of services.
  • NSW Working with Children Clearance, Working with Children Clearance Number and Expiry Date
