POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking an experienced Testing & Balancing Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent field skills, and a commitment to delivering accurate and dependable results.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 1 year of TAB experience (air and/or hydronic)
  • Familiarity with NEBB procedures; NEBB certification is an asset
  • Strong understanding of HVAC system design and performance
  • Able to read and interpret mechanical and control drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team
  • Physically capable of working in field environments (ladders, rooftops, mechanical rooms)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the GTA and occasionally beyond
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, nights, or weekends as required
Responsibilities
  • Perform Testing, Adjusting & Balancing of HVAC air and hydronic systems
  • Use calibrated instruments to measure air and water flows
  • Troubleshoot system issues related to flow, pressure, and distribution
  • Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
  • Collect field data and prepare professional TAB reports
  • Communicate effectively with site supervisors, contractors, and engineers
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures on active job sites
