JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an Air & Ocean Import & Export Supervisor with a strong background in Foreign-Trade Zones (FTZ) and freight forwarding activities to join our team.
This professional will be responsible for supervising a team and overseeing air and ocean import/export processes, ensuring compliance with international regulations, deadlines, and company quality standards.
Experience in FTZ inventory management and customs procedures is required.
This is an on-site position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
• 8 years in freight forwarding, with air and ocean import/export expertise.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in team leadership.
• Knowledge of international shipping, customs, and documentation.
• Proven team leadership skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office.

  Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

• Supervise daily air/ocean import and export shipments, ensuring timely and efficient transit.
• Ensure the end-to-end process from collection, documentation, booking, shipment, customs clearance, to delivery at the destination within the deadlines negotiated with the clients, ensuring quality and efficiency
• Oversee customs clearance, collaborating with brokers and ensuring regulatory adherence.
• Resolve logistics challenges, such as delays, damaged goods, or documentation issues, ensuring uninterrupted operations
• Develop the team, promoting collaboration and productivity.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external clients.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal company policies.
