JOB SUMMARY
To directly enable operational output at RAF Waddington, the UK’s primary ISTAR Main Operating Base. Also home to the RAF Aerobatics Team- the Red Arrows. This flight safety critical role is based within the Air Traffic Control Tower and provides support Controllers in the provision of Air Traffic Services, enabling safe aviation operations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Full details of the roles carried out by Air and Space Operations Specialist (ASOS) are contained within the Terms of Reference for each position and will be signed upon completion of training and validation. These positions are:
a. Runway Controller.
b. Visual Control Room ASOS.
c. Switchboard ASOS.
d. Driver position.
The successful candidate can expect to work in all named positions in support of air operation from RAF Waddington.
