KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Current Driver’s license.
  • Strong knowledge and execution of industry compliance standards.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated expertise in OH&S practices.
  • Pride and passion in delivering high-performance outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems in line with industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S and other regulatory requirements in all work practices.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance to minimize system breakdowns and prolong equipment life.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation for proper system installation and configuration.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all services performed, including parts used and time taken.
  • Provide recommendations to clients on energy-efficient system upgrades and improvements.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform after-hours repairs as required.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to coordinate equipment and materials when necessary.
  • Participate in internal training sessions and remain updated on the latest technologies and compliance standards.
