We are seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Air Conditioning Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, domestic and industrial settings. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the HVAC industry while working alongside experienced professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• GCSE Maths and English
• Relevant maintenance/trade qualification or willingness to work towards
• Ability to work effectively and supportively as a member of the regional and Academy teams
• Ability to carry out minor repairs
• Experience of a range of caretaking and cleaning duties

• Assist in the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioners, compressors, thermostats, and ventilation systems.
• Support the diagnosis of mechanical and electrical issues under the guidance of senior technicians.
• Learn and adhere to safety procedures and local HVAC regulations.
• Help perform routine maintenance to ensure system performance and longevity.
• Aid in preparing cost and time estimates for repairs or installations.
• Record maintenance and repair activities for future reference.
• Assist in the safe handling of refrigerants according to environmental standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
• Respond to service calls and customer inquiries under supervision.
