Salary: $60 - $80 per hour

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for qualified Trainer and Assessor for Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration. To be a successful trainer, you will need to have an in-depth knowledge of Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration and a passion for mentioning and passing on your knowledge to the next generations. Inspire and deliver the assigned programs using their extensive knowledge, past experience, and examples guided by comprehensive learning materials. Provide support and feedback to ensure successful completion of programs
As a Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for the delivery of Certificate III in “Air Conditioning and Refrigeration”

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hold Certificate III in “Air Conditioning and Refrigeration”
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its equivalent or willing to obtain if you do not have previous teaching background.
  • You should possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of AC/R industry principles, standards and the AC/R industry industry.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills - Passionate about teaching the next generation of students and making them competent.
Responsibilities
  • Leading engaging training sessions, sharing your practical knowledge and hand on experience.
  • Working with other stakeholders to implement effective and holistic programs, ensuring successful student outcomes.
  • Deliver both theory and practical workshop training.
  • Conduct relevant tutorial classes, exams and assessments.
  • Supervise students and provide support as required.
  • Identify training needs and develop training programs as required.
  • Using relevant information including student and industry feedback to inform improvements to delivery and assessment strategies.
  • Strong time-management and organisational skills
  • Confidence and motivation to deliver first-class face-to-face education.
  • Research, adapt and develop innovative learning practices and delivery options that enhance the Program area’s capacity to meet the learning needs of students

    Pay: $60.00 – $80.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

  • Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (Preferred)
  • TAE (Preferred)
