Job Description Job Summary: The Air Conditioning Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing air conditioning and cooling systems to ensure efficient and safe operation. Key Responsibilities: Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment. Perform preventive maintenance according to scheduled plans. Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. Replace defective components and ensure proper system performance. Monitor refrigerant levels and handle refrigerants safely in accordance with regulations. Test and calibrate HVAC equipment and controls. Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns promptly. Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance team members as required. Qualifications Diploma or Technical Certificate in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field. Previous experience in air conditioning maintenance and repair. Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and refrigeration principles. Ability to read technical drawings and manuals. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Basic communication skills in English. Skills: Preventive and corrective maintenance. Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
