A well- established International Freight Forwarding & Transportation Company is seeking a Air Export (Import) Operation coordinator in Carson, CA.
Manage Air Cargo Operations
o Oversee the coordination and management of air export (import) shipments.
o Ensure timely and accurate processing of all documentation, including airway bills, invoices, and customs declarations.
o Plan and direct the flow of air traffic moving to and from overseas destinations.
o Open files for each shipment in the dedicated software system.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in air export operations is preferred.
· Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to listen, comprehend, and communicate effectively to achieve positive outcomes.
· Proactive mindset with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience with GoFreight software is an advantage.
· Familiarity with air import operations is a plus.
· Prior experience in freight forwarding is highly preferred.
· Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
Work schedules with 1 hour unpaid lunch break Work schedules with 30 mins unpaid lunch break
8:00 ~ 5:00 PM 8:00 ~ 4:30PM
8:30 ~ 5:30 PM 8:30 ~ 5:00PM
9:00 ~ 6:00 PM 9:00 ~ 5:30PM
There are situations where the supervisor may permit the employee to start earlier than the schedules referenced above but it needs to go through approval.
