Tasks

• They independently organize and manage air freight import shipments in accordance with our quality requirements, taking into account economic and customer-oriented aspects.
• They assist with import customs clearance, process the shipping ledger, and are responsible for the documentation and invoicing of shipments.
• They schedule the delivery of goods, independently negotiate rates with transport companies, and are responsible for complaint management.
• They support and advise their customer base along the transport chain, create ad-hoc offers and correspond internationally with our DACHSER branches and our partners.

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed training as a merchant (m/f/d) for freight forwarding and logistics services or a comparable commercial vocational training and also have sound freight forwarding experience.
• They possess proven customs knowledge.
• They are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• They enjoy working in a team, act responsibly, and have an open and engaging manner.
