Description

Your responsibilities in Air Freight Import:

You will handle worldwide air freight import shipments from order entry to invoicing.

This includes coordinating pre- and post-carriage and liaising with customers, partners, agents, and carriers.

You will be a reliable contact person for our customers, providing them with expert support throughout their day-to-day business.

You will also prepare quotes and calculations, keeping a close eye on the profitability of your shipments.

You will take care of documentation and customs clearance, maintaining all relevant shipment and customer data in our systems.

Together with your colleagues, you will contribute ideas to continuously improve workflows and processes.


Your profile as an Air Freight Import Specialist:

You have completed vocational training as a freight forwarding and logistics services specialist or have a comparable qualification.

Professional experience in operational air freight import is required.

You are proficient in MS Office and can quickly learn new systems. You have

excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken.

You are characterized by an independent, structured, and reliable work style. You

  • enjoy teamwork and customer contact, and you maintain a clear overview even in a dynamic daily environment.

Responsibilities

Become part of our team as soon as possible as a Logistics Employee – Goods Receipt and Goods Dispatch (m/f/d) for our location in Esslingen am Neckar.

 

Here's what you can expect from us:

  • Processing calibration orders and requests in daily business
  • Goods receipt, incoming goods inspection, order entry, delivery note check
  • Writing offers, cost estimates, outsourcing to suppliers
  • Outgoing goods, writing delivery notes, shipping the goods
  • Order coordination within the team and cooperation within the Trescal network regarding order processing.
  • Controlling and tracking orders
  • Support in customer management and invoicing
