AIR FREIGHT CO-ORDINATOR – ISLINGTON, LONDON (HYBRID, £30K–£35K)

Location: Islington, London (Hybrid – office Tuesday to Thursday)
Hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm

THE ROLE

As an Air Freight Co-ordinator, you will:

• Manage day-to-day air freight export operations, with a strong emphasis on LATAM shipments
• Build lasting relationships with customers, suppliers, airlines, and overseas agents
• Arrange collections, deliveries, and ensure shipments move on time, in full compliance
• Prepare and check customs and shipping documentation
• Liaise with brokers to ensure smooth import and export clearance
• Provide accurate and competitive quotations
• Monitor shipments proactively, resolving service issues or delays
• Maintain accurate operational records (Cargowise training provided if required)

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in logistics operations within a UK freight forwarder
• Strong knowledge of air freight operations, UK suppliers, and airline routings
• Solid understanding of UK import/export customs clearance procedures
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong IT skills with the ability to adapt to new systems quickl
