Ph Water & Air Technologies is looking for an Air Hygiene Engineer to join our expanding team. We were founded in 2004 and have established ourselves as one of the leading ‘Total Environment Solutions’ companies operating within the UK and your skills and expertise working within our Air Division will help us to continue to provide our professional, client driven services to our valued customers.
This role would suit those who reside within the Essex and South London area where you’ll be tasked with Fire Damper Testing, ventilation assessments and extraction cleaning along with other varied job responsibilities.

CAN YOU SHOW EXPERIENCE IN SOME OF THESE AREAS?

  • Proven experience with relevant training certificates for air services, plus a valid CSCS skills card (beneficial) and a full UK driving licence; DBS check required
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to engage clients, colleagues, and the public; good problem-solving skills, initiative, excellent record keeping, and attention to detail
  • Flexible work ethic with willingness to adapt to changing hours (days, nights, lates), travel long distances, and undertake occasional overnight stays
  • Able to work independently, maintain high standards, and demonstrate reliability and professionalism at all times

Responsibilities
  • Fire damper testing and inspection in line with British Standards and fire safety requirements
  • Ventilation hygiene assessments and cleaning to TR:19 guidelines, including kitchen extract systems
  • Indoor air quality monitoring and sampling
  • Local exhaust ventilation inspection and maintenance
