We are working with an established Medium sized Freight Forwarder who have an exciting opportunity for an Air Import Operations Coordinator.
Role Involves:
- Deals directly with clients, customs, and agents to ensure the quickest and best movement of cargo throughout the world.
- Prepare documents necessary to complete Import and customs clearance process.
- Correctly billing and cost information populated in TMF for accurate invoicing and job costing.
- Communicate & correspond with other branches and agents for customer satisfaction and ensure excellent service execution.
- Seek the most profitable mode of shipment yet meet customers requirement for the movement of freight.
- Communicate with customers regarding disposition of freight, tracking/tracing, routing, and dispatching and rate quotations.
- Knowledge of UK Import operations and regulations.
- KPI adherence - DNI/LNR/cost accuracy/ ROTP
- Knowledge of AOG and Time Critical services/solutions.
- Ensure Compliance in line with company and industry policies.
Requirements.
- 2-3 years Air Import Experience.
- Strong knowledge of rules, regulations for Import documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Previous working within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Good Knowledge of MS Word & Excel.
- AOG knowledge advantage
- Time critical experience advantage.
Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
