Job Description As an air operation agent, you will be responsible for accepting bookings from internal & external customers, ensuring they have complete and compliant documentation for the import or export of goods. You will have the autonomy to provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally while applying the company standards and processes to effectively complete import & export requirements. Customer Service: You will be responsible for communicating effectively with customers and to ensure a compliant and complete shipment process in a timely manner, documenting customer needs for future use. Operational Excellence: You will take ownership of understanding and complying with Expeditors internal process standards, to complete timely, accurate and compliant documentations, customer billings and system updates. Service Provider Relationships: As an operation agent you will build strong partnerships with Service Providers including Airlines, Terminal operators and Trucking companies to ensure your client is serviced to a high level.
