We are looking for a Technical Change Manager (d/f/m) - IFE/CNX Systems & Power

ABOUT US

The Technical Change Management (TCM) team for IFE/CNX Systems & Power, 1CBC4, is operating in the Cabin &Cargo perimeter of the A320 Family, the A330 as well as the A350. In the TCM role, we are the engineering arm of the Configuration Management discipline. We plan and document changes to the customer aircraft - whetherdriven by customer requests ("Request for Change”, RFC) or by new development ("Change Request”, CR). We lead and organize the investigation of the required technical solution via feasibility studies (PFS/FFS), initiate the opening or control of modifications ("MODs"), and ensure the preparation of the documents that are needed for the final certification of the change , such as “Technical Repercussion Sheet” (TRS), “MP Dossier” or “Technical Dossier” (TD).

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree level in Engineering or similar.
  • Solid experience in Configuration Management.
  • Technical knowledge of IFE/CNX Systems & Power,
  • Familiar with tools like ICC, ACP, MCT, TAKSY/MODA and ACC2.
  • Experience in managing transnational interfaces.
  • Experience in project management is desirable.
  • Structured and analytical way of working.
  • High degree of motivation and sense of responsibility.
  • Language Skills: Negotiation level of German and English.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring a consistent aircraft definition for the managed ATA chapters, including participation in the creation of the customer catalogues (configuration guides).
  • Controlling changes to the basic aircraft through all stages of the change process, including coordination with process participants and external subcontractors for document creation.
  • Execution of the modification completion in the role of the Mod Closure Coordinator (MCC).
