Job Description Assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect, and complete precision and structural/system components based on drawings, specifications, and procedures Perform functional testing and ensure proper fit, form, and function of assemblies and components Obtain required information from prints, charts, sketches, work instructions, and verbal/electronic sources Apply shop mathematics and use precision measuring and testing instruments Use tooling to assemble components into sub-assemblies or final products Verify all work meets instructions and engineering/process specifications; identify and report discrepancies Ensure equipment and tools are properly certified according to procedures Perform routine minor machine maintenance (e.g., replacing filters, bulbs, maintaining lubrication/coolant levels) Move products within the manufacturing area using assigned equipment and complete required transaction records Work within established schedules and deadlines Support continuous workflow by training and assisting team members across levels Assist in training assembly personnel in assembly, installation, and inspection techniques Cross-train in inspection and achieve SIA qualification Level B Responsibilities: Set up and operate conventional and/or CNC equipment (less than 3-axis simultaneous movement) and fastening equipment Perform specialized processes (e.g., drivematic operations) Specialized Skills (one or more): Assembly/Installation of structures Sealing (including integral fuel cell sealing) Sub-assembly work Door assembly/installation Precision bench assembly Pressure and vacuum testing Qualifications 2-4 years of experience as aircraft assembler Open to temporary contract Flexible to work any shift Additional Information Here’s a heads-up of the upcoming steps: Phone Interview with Recruiter: We’ll begin with an introductory call to discuss your background and interest in the role.
