Our client is looking for a Skilled Aircraft Fitter to join them on a long-term contract until October 2026 - with real potential to extend or even go permanent. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a dedicated production team working on a variety of aircraft in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
Role: Aircraft Fitter
Location: Filton - 100% onsite
Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:30-15:45 (long weekends, every weekend!)
Clearance: BPSS required to start
Hourly Rate: £26.92 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Work from engineering instructions and understand Aircraft Drawings
• Complete tasks to the required standards
• General tasks include the use of power tools for drilling, shimming, and sealing
• 1st party certification will be required following successful completion of the relevant courses
• You may need to work in a confined space (tank work), which includes restricted and physically demanding wing access and egress through oval shaped manholes

A PRE-EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL WILL BE REQUIRED BEFORE STARTING THIS ROLE.
