They are a leader in designing, manufacturing and delivering aerospace products, services and solutions to customers on a global scale. A commercial aircraft manufacturer, with Space and Defense as well as Helicopters Divisions, they are the largest aeronautics and space company in Europe and a worldwide leader. The Aircraft Avionics Technician A - NHC is responsible for performing installation, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of aircraft avionics systems in support of new aircraft completions and modifications. Essential Functions: Perform assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems in the manufacturing of aircraft. Install electrical harness and sub-assemblies in aircraft by performing, but not limited to, the following activities: basic identification of wire and coax cable, clamping, bundling, mounting, routing, stripping, splicing's, soldering, termination. Perform work from blueprints, sketches, vendor and service manuals, and other source data to obtain dimensions, locations, alignment, tolerances and other specification requirements. Use a variety of standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices and test equipment in completing work assignments. Conduct operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems. Requirements Minimum of four (4) years of experience working on avionics in aircraft, preferably rotorcraft. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams, and apply standard shop practices in the fabrication and repair modifications of aircraft structures and repairs. Current Airframe or Powerplant license is a plus but not required. Must be able to read, write, and speak English
