Description Davinci Jets Services is seeking to hire an experienced Aircraft Avionics Technician to perform unscheduled maintenance and repairs on corporate aircraft and return it to service in a timely manner. This position would be based in Charlotte, NC. An ideal candidate is capable of being self-sufficient and has a strong understanding of how to manage work scopes from inception to completion. Duties and Responsibilities Perform avionics related maintenance tasks as assigned by Lead Technician or Supervisor. Ensure that all maintenance performed is conducted in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations and Davinci Jets Services policies. Reference current manufacturer’s maintenance publications during maintenance events. Properly document all maintenance tasks. Utilize calibrated tools (MTE) during applicable maintenance events. Ensure all articles, materials, and products are tagged properly. Clean and organize all housing and facilities. Perform pitot-static certification in accordance with 14 CFR § 91.411. Perform transponder certification in accordance with 14 CFR § 91.413. Troubleshoot avionics and electrical systems and components. Responsible for avionics systems installs and upgrades. Account for the time worked by billing time to applicable items in the work order as delegated by Lead Technician or Supervisor. Requirements Education and Experience FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certifications is preferred. 2-4 years directly related aviation avionics and electrical experience (corporate aircraft experience preferred) Corridor experience preferred. Good working knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 91, 135, and 145.
