Optime Group are proud to be recruiting Aircraft Cleaners for a prestigious client at Newcastle Airport. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company offering excellent conditions and facilities. Start Date: April 2026 What's on offer: Rate of pay: £12.74 per hour Working Hours: 23:00 pm to 07:00 am (You must be flexible with the hours you work) You must pick up a minimum of 2 shifts per week. (Shift timing examples below) Shifts: Ad-Hoc - You must be able flexible with your start and finish times. Weekly Pay (every Friday) Temp to Perm (performance-related). Key responsibilities: Cleaning of all areas of various sizes of aeroplanes making sure they are ready for their next journeys. Cleaning and restocking aircraft consumables. Vacuuming carpets and wiping down equipment and surfaces. Cleaning aircraft kitchen areas (galleys) and washrooms. Removing rubbish and making sure that it is properly disposed. Assuring the proper handling of hazardous materials. Security checking of the aircraft and reporting any findings as per your training. Shifts available: Below are the shifts that will be available on the App, you must be able to work 2 shifts per week and able to work Night shifts. This is not a full-time role. Example Shifts: 23:00 pm to 07:00 am The ideal candidate: Has lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years or more, as all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Counter Terrorist Check (CTC). Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National ID card. This role requires you to stand for long periods of time (8 hours). UK Settled Status (If applicable). Proof of National Insurance. Proof of (current) Address. 5 Year Address History. 5 Year Work Reference History. Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check and CTC following interview in line with CAA requirements. PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
