Description
HEICO Repair Group Aerostructures is seeking an experienced Shop Manager to oversee daily operations of our aircraft component maintenance shop.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft component repair, a deep understanding of FAA and industry compliance standards and exceptional team leadership skills.   Key Responsibilities include:  Lead and supervise daily shop operations ensuring workflow and efficiency and adherence to repair schedules and TAT. Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Customer Service departments to ensure timely delivery and compliance. Oversee and support technicians performing sheet metal and/or composite repairs.  Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, safety and environmental standards. Monitor productivity and quality metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement. Train, mentor and evaluate shop personnel Provide technical input and support on complex repairs. Prepare and present operational reports to upper management. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft component maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong technical background in aircraft component repair, including sheet metal and composite work. Familiarity with FAA regulations, 145 repair station requirements and EASA standards. Demonstrated leadership ability and effective team management skills. Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in maintenance tracking systems and shop management software (Pentagon preferred)   Airframe and/or Powerplant license preferred.
