Description

Our client, a global company, is seeking Aircraft Component Mechanics to join their team. This is a DIRECT HIRE role and an excellent long-term, career opportunity.

Duties & Responsibilities: ‍

  • Disassembly, assembly, inspection and test stand work on aeronautical components/accessories including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, fuel & oil and pneumatic components/accessories
  • Implement work plans by following instructions from various sources
  • Test and measuring equipment to conduct work
  • Determine and report defects on parts, assemblies, engines, and accessories
  • Certify accuracy of work and documentation
  • Parts ordering
  • Other duties as required

‍Requirements:

  • Recognized apprenticeship to Transport Canada standards. International candidates must have foreign aircraft technician license or related trade certificate
  • 1+ year experience in engine or component maintenance, repair and overhaul
  • Experience with one or more of these types of engines: CF6-50/80, V2500, CFM56, CFM LEAP, PW2000
  • Good knowledge of main standard inspection and repair in engine repair
  • Able to work on computer systems (ex. MS Office)
  • Intermediate knowledge of SAP
  • Able to provide others with technical advice
  • Solid English communication (both written and verbal)
  • Good interpersonal skills
