REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in industrial or aerospace painting (aircraft component painting preferred)
  • Knowledge of painting processes, surface preparation, and coating systems (e.g. epoxy, polyurethane)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, specifications, and work orders
  • Familiarity with safety procedures when working with hazardous materials.
  • Attention to detail and strong manual dexterity
  • Experience working in a controlled environment (e.g. paint booth or clean room)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Jetglow Aircraft Engineering, a leading provider of aerospace maintenance and engineering services, is seeking a skilled Aircraft Component Painter to join our team. This is a hands-on role within our paint and coatings department, supporting the preparation, painting, and finishing of aircraft parts and components to industry and regulatory standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare aircraft components for painting (degreasing, masking, sanding, etc.)
  • Apply primers, topcoats, and specialty coatings using spray-painting equipment
  • Inspect finished surfaces for quality and compliance with technical specifications
  • Maintain detailed records of work carried out, materials used, and process conditions
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines, including PPE use and paint booth procedures
