Job Details Job Location: AeroNimble MRO Plant - Harrisonburg, VA 22801 Salary Range: $30.00 - $50.00 Hourly Job Purpose: - The PT-6 Engine Mechanic at AERONIMBLE CORPORATION is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling PT-6 engines to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires expertise in PT-6 engine overhaul and hot section procedures, contributing to the reliability and efficiency of our aviation operations. Eligible for benefits upon hire. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of PT-6 engines to identify issues and determine necessary repairs or maintenance. - Perform complete engine overhauls, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and reassembly of engine components. - Execute hot section inspections and repairs, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. - Utilize technical manuals and schematics to guide maintenance and repair processes, ensuring accuracy and precision. - Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex engine problems and implement effective solutions. - Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and tracking purposes. - Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. - Stay updated on the latest advancements and techniques in PT-6 engine maintenance and repair. - Provide technical support and guidance to junior mechanics and other team members as needed. - Communicate effectively with management and clients regarding engine status, repair needs, and timelines. Qualifications Required Education: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Certification from an accredited aviation maintenance school preferred. Required Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in PT-6 engine overhaul and/or hot section maintenance. - Proven track record of working with PT-6 engines in a professional setting. - Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting engine issues effectively.
