Description No experience required; Cutter will provide paid on the job training! $19.00/hr starting pay, increases to $20.00/hr after successful completion of probationary period. Position Summary: Cutter Aviation is currently searching for an energetic and assertive customer service professional. The Aircraft Greeter will function as the primary face of Cutter Aviation and must have exceptional relationship skills with the ability to provide world-class customer service. The Aircraft Greeter is effectively the initial customer contact person at our facility. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Provide world-class uncompromising service. Greeting passengers and crews upon arrival and departure. Escorting passengers and crews to appropriate locations, e.g., lobby, transportation. Confirm all reservations and services to be provided. Gathering information for Line Services for fueling aircraft as well as relaying information to Customer Service Representative to make arrangements for services (rental cars, catering, coffee, ice, & newspapers). Shuttle passengers from plane to parking lot or lobby area. Clean windscreens; stock coolers with water; clean aircraft dishes, and general light cleaning around the airplane as well as Customer and Line Service areas. Solicit sale of new or additional services or products. This position also includes performance of all Customer Service Representative’s duties as needed. Monitor the arrival, parking, refueling, loading, and departure of all aircraft. Identify areas in need of improvement, bring this to the attention of management, and implement these improvements when possible. Check and verify correct orders, i.e., fuel and catering are placed & dispatched to Line Service Technicians. FAA and TSA rules and regulations are followed. Transportation of passengers and or crew members on and off airport to designation e.g., hotel, main airport, aircraft. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Physical Demands: This work requires the following physical activities. Lifting up to 50 pounds. Environmental Conditions: Outside environment Minimum Education Requirement: Must have High School Diploma or GED Minimum Work Experience Requirement: Prior experience working at a FBO or in the hospitality industry, preferred. Basic computer and keyboarding skills. Qualifications/Special Skills and Certifications: Knowledge of: All types of general aviation aircraft and their service requirements plus the needs of crews and passengers. Principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. Ability to: Calculate figures and amounts. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all staff, tenants, customers, and the general flying public. Present information effectively and respond to questions from airport staff, clients, customers, and flight crews. Other Requirements: Ability to pass a drug screening test.
