Boeing Global Services (BG) Global Technical Operations (GTO) is seeking an Aircraft Hydraulic component Repair Technician to support the Hydro Mechanical shop with repairs and overhauls of the F-15 hydro/mechanical and weapon system components at our Component Repair Center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
This is a unique and challenging position working with a small diverse team responsible for repair and overhaul of various Hydraulic/Mechanical and Weapon system components.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining and overhauling landing gear
  • Experience with repair of aircraft mechanical assemblies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Experience with repairing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, environmental, and avionics systems
Responsibilities
  • Support is across multiple commercial and DoD programs
  • Assemble, disassemble and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading components to correct failures or implement changes
  • Configures bench test equipment
  • Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components
  • Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components
  • Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results)
  • Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements
  • Work under general direction
