Since 1978 Air Inuit has been providing scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency air transportation services in Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

Are you a meticulous problem-solver with a passion for aviation? Do you thrive in challenging environments and have a knack for keeping things running smoothly? If so, we want you on our team! As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Air Inuit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet is always ready to conquer the skies. Under the supervision of the Senior Base Engineer or Base Engineer you will carry-out repairs and line maintenance on Air Inuit’s fleet.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform work on aircraft in accordance with inspection instructions, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, or other approved programs, using recognized practices, and ensure that such work is performed in accordance with the applicable sections of the maintenance management manual.
  • Complete routine and scheduled maintenance on a variety of aircraft.
  • Perform inspections and ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations.
  • Ensure that all work is properly recorded and signed on the applicable maintenance control forms.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work.
  • Keep OMA facilities, such as the workshop, store, library, and surrounding areas, in good condition.
  • De-ice aircraft.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
  • Collaborate with a team of qualified engineers and apprentices.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests with efficiency and expertise.
  • Perform other related duties as required by the operational needs of the department.
