JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice who is mechanically inclined, motivated to learn, and eager to develop their skills in General Aviation maintenance. This position offers hands-on experience working on piston aircraft under the guidance of licensed AMEs, with direct reporting to the Person Responsible for Maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Enrollment in or completion of a Transport Canada–approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineer program.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
• Familiarity with aviation tools, equipment, and safety procedures is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.

• Assist with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Cessna 172s, Piper PA-30s, and Diamond DA42s.
• Support inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting of airframe and powerplant systems.
• Follow company and Transport Canada regulations, policies, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Learn to interpret manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
