ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for skilled Avionics technicians to become a key part of our team at RAAF Base Pearce, WA, working hands-on in an environment that demonstrates excellence, innovation, and teamwork.
This is your chance to be part of the supporting team looking after the Hawk Lead-In Fighter, one of the world’s most successful advanced military jet trainer aircraft.
In this role, you will be taking on responsibilities that are as challenging as they are rewarding. Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you’ll be instrumental in keeping our fleet ready and safe.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the Shift Team Lead to execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring all technical documentation is up-to-date and authorised.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, ensuring all procedures comply with BAE Systems and Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) regulations.
  • Identify and report defects, maintenance issues, and quality non-conformances as they arise.
  • Adhere to high standards of safety and quality while operating workshop equipment and performing maintenance tasks.
  • Support flight operations as needed to meet operational demands.
