As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Leading Hand), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness of our clients’ aircraft, keeping them in optimal condition.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hold an Australian Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably within the Australian aviation industry or foreign aviation industry with similar regulatory standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian aviation regulations, including CASA regulations and maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment for aircraft maintenance and repairs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the conduct of routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems, adhering to Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulations.
  • Assist our engineering team with diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing your expertise and knowledge of Australian aviation standards.
  • Plan and implement scheduled maintenance tasks by our engineering team, including engine checks, avionics inspections, and hydraulic system servicing.
  • Manage our engineering team to ensure compliance with CASA regulations and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities by our engineering team, including repairs, inspections, and parts used, in accordance with Australian aviation industry requirements.
