Job Description The AME's duties include: Planning and performing aircraft maintenance; Ensuring that all replacement parts are inspected and properly certified prior to installation; Organizing and housekeeping of the hangar facility; Assuring compliance with all company policies and procedures; Travelling to various work locations and environments as required; Performing related duties as assigned by supervisor. Multiple sites available: Sept-Îles (QC) Sanirajak /Hall Beach (NU) Iqaluit (NU) Southport (MB) Goose Bay (NL) Pool Across Canada Qualifications Must hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME licence; Must have the legal right to work in Canada, this position is not available for sponsorship; Hold, have held or must be eligible to hold Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) on one or many of the following: AS350B2 AS350B3 AS355N B206 B212 B412 S61 note: holding ACA on other types of CHL aircrafts would be a definite asset; Organized and self-starter; Customer focus, good communication skills and positive attitude and a team player; Must live or be willing to relocate to the assigned area; Ability to accept away-from-base assignments, at the customer request. Ability to navigate and work efficiently within a Windows environment. May be required to obtain Access to Controlled Goods clearance under the company’s approval. According to the assigned location, additional qualifications could be required, such as: Previous experience as a sheet metal technician would be considered an asset; - Sept-Îles (QC) Have successfully completed a basic maintenance course from a Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) acceptable training organization or within DND. - Southport (MB) Consideration will be given to applicants with a Canadian Military aircraft maintenance qualification. - Southport (MB) Additional Information Remuneration: Competitive salary according to experience.
