We provide a wide range of aviation and related services to domestic and international markets.    PAL Aerospace is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Rotational) in Trinidad & Tobago.      Duties and Responsibilities: * Rotate to and from Trinidad (5 weeks on/off) to carry out and coordinate the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of all aircraft and aircraft components including heavy maintenance; * Report on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft; * Ensure aircrafts are maintained in accordance with company and Transport Canada Regulations; * Co-ordinate parts requirements and ensure sufficient tools and equipment are made available to accomplish the maintenance and inspection functions; * Administration and direction of safety practices and procedures;  * Coordinate with the Trinidad and Tobago Air Guard Engineering Officer for planned maintenance and or defects as they arise; * Complete work sheets for work accomplished; * Report unserviceable maintenance equipment;  * Other duties as assigned.   Qualifications: * Required: Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through a program such as ICS or military equivalent. * Required: M1/M2 license or equivalent rating. * Preferred: Experience on SA227 aircraft;  * Minimum of 2 years of experience; * Knowledge of avionics & avionics troubleshooting would be considered an asset; * The ability to work both independently and in a team environment; * Ability to work shift work and/or 24/7 on call; * Must be prepared to deploy with aircraft on short notice; * A thorough knowledge of company aircraft and their related systems; * Excellent troubleshooting skills; * Must possess strong interpersonal, decision-making, organization, and communication skills.   Why work for PAL Aerospace?
