We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with Forest Patrol Services, Inc. based in Saint John, New Brunswick with a summer field rotation in Boston Brook and Juniper, New Brunswick .

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 3 years aircraft maintenance experience
  • Valid TCCA M1 and/or M2 AME license in a recognized discipline
  • Experience with Air Tractor 802, Airbus H125, Daher Kodiak 100 and Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines are assets
  • Experience in Line Maintenance in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven technical aptitude - Ability to work on complex assignments requiring considerable judgment, initiative, and technical knowledge
  • Valid Canadian Driver’s License with a clean abstract
  • Ability to hold an airport RAIC pass
  • Ability to climb, kneel, and crawl frequently in tight spaces
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs/22 kgs
  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
  • Valid Canadian Passport and the ability to travel across international borders for training and conferences as required

Responsibilities
  • Test and troubleshoot aircraft mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems to identify and address problems
  • Adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures
  • Ensure the work accomplished on any aircraft or component, complies with: o The applicable manufacturer’s recommended standards o Canadian Aviation Regulations o Company Policies and Procedures
  • Complete all work orders, check sheets and records accurately and in accordance with regulatory procedures and/or manuals
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work environment, reporting any potential hazards
  • Flexibility to work shift work and overtime, as well as ability to work away from Saint John, New Brunswick during Summer season field assignments
