Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic team working on an aircraft conversion program and heavy maintenance, primarily focusing on the Q400 conversion to aerial firefighting. This long-term, full-time contractor role involves basic mechanical work including engine checks, wheel changes, structural inspections, and overall repairs. Be prepared to work in various divisions and facilities as needed.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Must hold an M2 license.
  • Q400 endorsement required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in heavy maintenance.
  • At least 2 years of experience in aircraft mechanical work.
  • Current Human Factors Certification (from 2021 onwards).

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Dash 8 Q400 or any Dash 8s preferred.
  • Experience in regional turbo props, repair, electrical, avionics repair, aircraft maintenance, and line maintenance is beneficial.
  • Experience in northern regions like Yukon or NW territories is advantageous.
  • 737 experience with 5+ years is a plus.
  • Line and interiors experience is appreciated.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team with a positive attitude.
