Position Summary: AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in North Charleston, SC that is a leading global aerospace company and top U.S. exporter, Boeing develops, manufactures and services commercial airplanes, defense products and space systems for customers in more than 150 countries. We are looking for skilled Aircraft Painter to assist with this client's needs. An Aircraft Painter is responsible for preparing and applying high-quality paint finishes to aircraft exteriors, sections, or components according to company and customer specifications. Essential Functions: Prepare aircraft exterior surfaces for painting, including cleaning, masking, sanding, and layout. Apply primers, paints, coatings, and external aircraft markings per technical requirements. Create necessary patterns and layouts for paint schemes and unique liveries. Use appropriate tools and spray equipment to achieve quality finishes. Conduct touch-ups, finish detailing, and quality inspections of paint work. Work safely at heights using fall protection and other PPE. Follow written work instructions, schematics, and environmental/safety protocols. Maintain clean and organized work area, including proper handling of hazardous materials. Requirements High School diploma or GED. 2+ years in painting aircrafts Ability to work variable shifts, including potential overtime. Comfortable working from lifts or elevated platforms with fall protection. Ability to interpret work instructions and painting specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
