Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Aircraft Painter to join our C-17 team in San Antonio, TX.
This position requires the candidate to mix paint, work with chemicals, preparation work to prep the parts for paint application, work closely with other team members and the ability to work with others and share responsibilities The successful candidate will have the ability to search and read the specifications in the DPS and engineering drawings to complete assignments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

1+ years of experience painting aircraft or aircraft part

  • s1+ years of experience sanding, taping, mixing material, for the application of pain

Responsibilities

Coat surfaces of aircraft with paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin or other material, using brushes, rollers, spray guns and other devices, removes old paint from aircraft, using liquid paint remover and scrape

  • rSmooth surface with sandpaper and steel wool, roughens aluminum surfaces with acid solution and steel wool to ensure that paint adheres to surfac
  • eMask and cover portions of surfaces not to be painted, and paint insignia, letters or numerals on aircraft surface, using stencil
