AIRCRAFT TRADESPERSON REPAIR We are currently recruiting for qualified (Level 4) tradespeople with background in aviation, mechanical engineering, automotive, fitter / machining, CNC machinist, fabricator, welder or similar for permanent full-time positions. This is perfect for someone who can work in defined processes, is quality and safety oriented, pays close attention to detail, and is willing to learn. You will receive a full training and comprehensive onboarding. Your Role After completing your induction training you will work at a designated workstation within our repair workshop consisting of the areas machining, thermal spray, bonding, weld, general fitting/ reconditioning. Completing repair, modification, or overhaul work under the instruction of Production Leaders and Lead Hands Using our computer system to document and record your work Ensuring that your work meets all health and safety requirements Your Profile Be Trade Qualified – NZQA Level 4 or equivalent. Please provide a copy of your relevant qualifications, including NZQA equivalency for overseas qualifications Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand Have solid work experience in similar environment, such as aviation, mechanical engineering, automotive, fitter / machining, CNC machinist, fabricator or similar. Be experienced in working in processes and following instructions Strong hand skills Good computer literacy Have a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and good organizational skills Be a confident, effective communicator and a strong team player Be passionate about your work and always strive for the best and take pride in your work Be able to comply with a strong safety and quality culture Be flexible and adaptable HOURS OF WORK In this full-time position you will work in a fortnightly rotating shift pattern. Availability to work overtime is appreciated and compensated accordingly.
