REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in Freight Forwarding operations, in a similar role with Import/Export experience an advantage
  • Must possess at least ‘O’ level, professional certificate/NiTEC/Diploma or Advanced/Higher/graduate Diploma in any field
  • Possess of valid Class 3 driving license, DG certified and Cargowise will be an added advantage
  • Excellent written / verbal English
  • Proficient with MS office applications

Responsibilities
  • Keep the pulse of customer satisfaction
  • Respond to customer’s inquiries in a timely manner
  • Work with internal LFS stakeholders to create an exceptional customer service experience
  • Manage account/customer expectations
  • Work with internal and external customers on Corrective and Preventative Actions
  • Build and maintain rapport with customers to fulfill their requirements
  • Manage appointed accounts and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Coordinate sea/air freight shipments and transport arrangement
  • Book service with co-loaders for import/export and trans-shipment
  • Prepare billings
  • Import/export permit declarations and customs clearance
  • Liaise and source for the cargo space with different airlines to plan the flights to destination
  • Processing of Air & Sea – Import / Export documentations (Full-cycle) Billings / Invoicing.
  • Assist with cross departmental projects when necessary
  • Light office maintenance
  • General operational administrative duties including data entry, filling, and scanning.
  • Perform other required duties, as assigned by direct superiors.
