KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Air Freight Manager duties and responsibilities will include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Compliance with all TSA, DOT and Customs regulations (US and Foreign)
• Develop and maintain air carrier relationship.
• Maximize profits through pricing, negotiation and operation excellence on air freights
• Manage bids, carrier negotiation and rate management
• TSA security coordinator responsibilities.
• Development and maintenance of strong long-term customer and vendor relationships
• AES administrator responsibilities.
• Management and Execution of all daily operations of Air Freight/Projects.
• Management, training and motivation of existing operations team
• Consistent excellence in Reliability, Professionalism and Teamwork.
• Work constructively in a team oriented environment to ensure customer & overseas offices requirements are met.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing of the air freight department.
• Follow code of conduct and ensure that same is followed by the project team.
• Role may expand beyond air freight and could include project/key account shipments of other modes of transport
• Passing the IATA Dangerous Goods by Air, Excluding Radioactive Cat 3 will be required in order to remain in this position.
• Comply with all safe work practices and procedures set in place by deugro.
• Enforce deugro OHS Policy and Procedures.
• Work with due care and consideration to safeguard own health and safety and the health and safety of others.
• Report incidents/accidents/near misses.
