Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and execute end-to-end airfreight shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery from origin to destination.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth cargo movement and compliance.
• Prepare and verify all necessary shipping documentation, including air waybills, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
• Monitor shipment progress in real-time, proactively identifying and resolving any delays or disruptions.
• Calculate and audit freight charges, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual agreements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on shipment status and addressing inquiries.
• Implement and maintain operational procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize errors.
• Handle import and export customs clearance processes, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including carriers and vendors.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience specifically within airfreight operations.
• Proven expertise in international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
• Proficiency in using freight forwarding software and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Strong understanding of airline cargo products and operational capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other languages, such as Spanish or Mandarin, is a plus.
• Possession of relevant certifications like IATA DGR or CGBP is highly advantageous.
