Description Driver Supervisor (Player–Coach) — SkyHop Global Location: Austin, TX (AUS) Compensation: $21/hour + benefits (401k, medical, dental, vision, PTO, life, referral program) Schedule: Full-time; may include days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays; some on-call About the Role SkyHop Global provides reliable ground transportation for airline crews. We’re hiring a Driver Supervisor who can lead by example—a true player–coach who is comfortable supervising drivers and spending up to ~40% of time in the field (ride-alongs, audits, fill-in driving, road tests). What You’ll Do Lead & Coach: Direct daily work for a driver team; provide coaching, feedback, and performance follow-up. Operate & Support (Player–Coach): Conduct ride-alongs, field checks, road tests, and step in on routes as needed to uphold service standards. Safety & Compliance: Reinforce safe practices; run station safety huddles; complete incident follow-ups; ensure policy adherence. Scheduling & Efficiency: Coordinate driver schedules aligned to airline demand; help minimize OT while protecting service quality. Hire & Train: Partner with the Station Manager on recruiting, onboarding, and upskilling drivers. Admin & Relationships: Assist with local permits/registrations; coordinate renewals; maintain positive ties with airport/ground-transport authorities; complete required documentation accurately and on time.
