Description

The Flight Checker / CSR (Customer Service Representative) is responsible for verifying that all required equipment and supplies for assigned flights are accurately prepared and meet airline specifications. This role ensures the quality and accuracy of each flight build, supports operational flow, and communicates directly with drivers, the flight kitchen team, and airline representatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, random drug testing, and a criminal background check (including TSA and Customs clearance).
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ lbs regularly.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and move continuously for shifts of 8 hours or more.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including hot and cold environments, while wearing protective clothing.
  • Must comply with all company safety and security protocols.
  • Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), including but not limited to: safety footwear, goggles, and hearing protection.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment while meeting production deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Consistent attendance and adherence to scheduling standards is essential.
  • Upon hire, all employees must comply with SkyCafe’s rules, policies, and safety procedures to ensure the safe and effective operation of the flight kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and verify flight setups to ensure all items are present and arranged per airline specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks on all flight components, including food temperature and equipment placement.
  • Assist in setting up flight carts, pushing carts to transport areas, and supporting dishroom operations as needed.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, kitchen staff, and drivers.
  • Respond quickly to flight schedule changes and make operational adjustments as necessary.
  • Record and report any internal defects or issues found during flight checks, and ensure corrective action is taken.
  • Support drivers with proper flight setup and confirm final counts and specifications before departure.
  • Maintain a consistent record of strong performance and reliable attendance.
