This is an armed security position, you are commissioned to the airport as a Law Enforcement/Airport Police Officer. Candidates must have completed a recognized law enforcement training academy and possess verifiable prior experience. This position is not a training program for individuals seeking to become law enforcement officers. Position Type: Full Time - Morning Shift Pay Rate: $28.86 with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri05:00 AM - 02:00 PM Minimum Qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS): To be considered, all applicants must meet the following criteria: 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level) Must provide valid and verifiable credentials at the time of application Pre-Employment Requirements: Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying) Valid Driver's License Law Enforcement Officer License 22+ years of age What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including the perimeter and designated areas. Monitor for suspicious activity and/or unauthorized individuals to help to deter potential security-related threats. Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols. Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials as required. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary. Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or security-related situations as they arise. Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed patrol duties. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military police, or corrections. Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or possess an equivalent qualification. Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations. Must be at least 22 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
