JOB SPECIFICATIONS

The Airport Manager at Nemiscau Airport oversees all aspects of safe, efficient, and compliant airport operations of the Nemiscau Airport [CYHH]. This key position is ideal for a professional with strong leadership abilities who wishes to actively contribute to the smooth operation of an airport that is essential for Northern Quebec.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in airport/aviation management.
• Knowledge of civil aviation regulations, Transport Canada, ICAO, SMS.
• CRO-A (UNICOM), TDG, UNICOM AU, METAR training.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Leadership, multitasking, attention to details.
• Proficient in MS Office and aviation systems.
• Must pass Hydro-Québec VRII.

• Oversee daily airport operations and maintenance, including operating the UNICOM, runway operations, and check-in and flight coordination.
• Ensure full compliance with civil aviation regulations.
• Coordinate emergency response and airport security protocols.
• Conduct safety inspections and prepare weather reports.
• Manage communication with government authorities and security committees.
• Supervise staff and oversee training programs.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
