We invite you to join our passionate team at Fraport Greece! We are responsible for operating, managing, and upgrading 14 Regional Airports in the most attractive destinations in Greece! If you feel fit the role’s requirements, apply for the “Airport Operations Coordinator” position for Skiathos Airport What will you be doing in this role? Monitor the allocation of aircraft parking stands, departure gates, check-in counters, and baggage belts, ensuring efficient utilization of the airport’s operational resources and compliance with safety rules. Monitor the airport’s Air Traffic Control (ATC) frequencies constantly and notify internal shift functions accordingly to enhance operational safety. Monitor the valid published NOTAMs and the actual weather data and forecasts regarding the airport and disseminates them accordingly. Disseminate all signed Work Permits. Ensure implementation of specific actions during emergencies, as described in the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and the Winter Operations Plan of the airport. Ensure implementation of contingency procedures in case of equipment failures. Provide reports for VIP and state Flights. Keep the Daily Airport Log updated with all required events. Insert all flight-related data into the corporate systems (AODB, SkyPort, FIDs). Ensure that FG platforms such as PPR and SkyPort are updated. Do you fulfill the required skills? High School or Vocational Upper Secondary School Diploma. One year of previous working experience in airfield (airside) operations or a minimum of five years in the airport operational environment (airport, airlines & ground handlers) is required. Excellent understanding of airport rules and regulations and the aviation regulatory framework (EASA, ICAO, IATA, HCAA) is essential. Advanced level in MS Office. Flight Dispatcher diploma/certification would be highly appreciated. Fluency in Greek and English (oral and written at a professional corporate level).
